We are inviting offers for a 2.5% share in one of our two year old fillies, Temple of Athena who was last seen finishing third in the £75k Alice Keppell Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on just her second career start.
She stepped into the deep end after winnng her maiden at the first attempt just days before, picking up €60k worth of bonuses along the way for her owners.
Her pedigree and physical makeup suggest she is far from just a two year old and we are confident she will be competing at stakes level of the foreseeable future.
Her options for August can be found below:
15th August Newbury St Hughs Fillies only 5f Listed
16th August Curragh Listed 5f
20th August York 6f 100k nursery
23rd August York 5f Listed
31st August Longchamp Arenberg 5f Group 3
Going into her debut, Brian had been very impressed with our fillies work and we told our owners that she was potentially the best juvenile in the yard this year.
She was much the best horse in the race, pulling many lengths clear on ground that wasn't ideal. Victor Cee was sent off a short price favourite having ran well previously at Newcastle in a deep contest.
Victor Cee has since come out and won his maiden in comfortable fashion, giving our form a welcomed boost.
We decided to roll the dice in the Alice Keppell Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and our filly didn't disappoint, finishing third in what was a field full of extremely fast fillies!
We planned to jump positively and just take a lead off Zelaina but having jumped well, we were pretty much left in no mans land and the filly just accelerated through the downhill part of the track.
She clocked 44.37mph through that section which is a huge difference to the top speed of 38.74 that she recorded at Beverley.
The time of the race was very good, 0.3 seconds quicker than the group three Molecomb and our time would have seen us finished third in that contest.
We'd have been a couple of lengths clear after three furlongs if we'd have ran our sectionals in that race:
34.03s - our first three furlongs
34.45s - Molecomb leader first three furlongs
Ben reported that she had a good look at the crowd and we probably ended up too far over which was down to inexperience and Desert Jungle carrying us that way.
We are inviting offers for a 2.5% share until midday on the 8th August.
There will be up to 10% auctioned, with the winning bidders receiving full owners benefits including regular updates and a badge for every run.
Nick Bradley will have the final say in the offer we accept.
Monthly training fee payments of £99 will start from 1st September 2025.
