This could be an excellent piece of business in twelve months time and she’s an absolute no brainer at the prices.
She’s an excellent model with a good walk through her strong hind leg and we just had to buy her at band “D” money.
Marco Botti loved her and we’ve partnered up with him as we wished to retain a large share.
After the hammer went down, the vendor approached us to inform us that her half sister and the first foal out of the mare, Rosie Gold was in training with William Haggas and she was working extremely well until a fatal accident before her debut.
She was earmarked as the yards horse for Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, such was her level of work and you can guarantee we’d have paid more than 10,000gns for our filly should her half sister ran well at the Royal meeting.
The mare is a half sister to listed winner Neebras who also finished fourth in the group St James Palace Stakes, he died as a three year old after his listed success so there’s every chance he could have enhanced his pedigree.
We are a big fan of the stallion; he isn’t fashionable and its very rare the breeze up boys are on them which makes his stock very buyable for us. He’s produced a long list of group winners such as Regional, Aldaary and Hoo Ya Mal to name but a few with group one winner, Lazzat, his best produce so far.
Last year we bought a Territories filly called Larchill Lass for band D money and she’s gone on to win over £20,000 in prize money so far, four times her price tag after running well in valuable band D only races which see the winner collect over £15,000 in one go.
Another big tick in the box is the Territories x Dutch Art cross, two fillies have been produced with excellent results, Limerick Lady raced once in France recording an RPR of 69 before being purchased to race in Australia whilst Amy Murphy’s stakes winner, Geologist is the other filly from this cross. She won a listed race in Germany as well as placing in group three company and finishing second in the £100,000 Tattersalls Auction Stakes a Newmarket, a race this filly qualifies for.
Dutch Art is a fantastic damsire, horses like Chaldean, White Birch and Lethal Levi are all out of Dutch Art mares.
Marco’s group three winner, Great Generation is also out of a Dutch Art mare.
The plan is simple with this filly, given she qualifies for band D’s and she’s 100% GBB registered.
There where five 30k band D or C/D fillies only contests between May-July last season and collecting one of these would collect us over £35,000 before we do anything else.
If this filly can reproduce the work her half sister shown and hopefully translate that onto the race track then we have a very exciting filly on our hands given all the plus points above.
