We are delighted to add this Saxon Warrior to our 2yo string from Eddie Linehan's, Lackendarra Stables.
We saw this filly in the flesh on two occasions and she made the shortlist both times, with a fee agreed on one occasion (far more than we gave for her in the end).
Given she is bred for 7f+, a two furlong test up Mocklershill wouldn't have been ideal and Sam James liked her, just commenting that she would be one for July onwards.

We purchased "Love Talk" from Eddie earlier in the year and we couldn't be happier with where she is at, and we expect her to have a successful juvenile season. He did feel that Love Talk was a couple of lengths infront of this Saxon Warrior filly back in April but i'd like to think that gap will have closed by now given this filly is expected to improve as the year goes out, being out of a Cape Cross Mare.
Looking at the "Nick" Saxon Warrior x Cape Cross, there has been examples of this, with two animals recording an RPR in the late 70's, and both improving with age as you'd expect.
Eddie is a very good judge of a horse and he believes she is more than capable of winning a maiden and we'll be targeting IRE incentive races when she is on the track with a hope of collecting a €10,000 bonus along the way.
She will join our ever growing string at Grant Tuer's, both Grant and Nick will be taking a share in the filly as she is tremendous value.
We expect to have her on the track in the next six weeks, with band C/D maidens an option given her Book 3 yearling price of 20,000gns.
