Our Phoenix Of Spain filly is taking her faster work very well and she continues to catch the eye of her work riders.
27th april
Everyone is extremely happy with how our filly is moving and we are excited to see her introduced to some faster work.
31st march
Richie is very happy with our filly, she is cantering away and will continue to do so for the next few weeks before moving into Karl's main yard.

Our filly is now back at Karl's after an easy period at Glebe Farm. She's a striking filly with a huge stride and we are excited to see how she fares during some faster work at Spigot Lodge.

After arriving at George Chaloner's Rough Diamond Equine base, our filly has begun her pre training almost immediately and George is happy with her early work.

Our second purchase of Orby's Book 2 catalogue, a Phoenix of Spain filly out of an Invincible Spirit mare who is heading to Karl Burke.
She was Nick's standout of the entire and we weren't leaving the sale without her, she moved with real purpose and had an excellent physical conformation and action. Nick cant remember seeing a filly with a stride length as big as this before as a yearling and he described a similiar feeling to when he saw multiple G1 winner Fev Rover for the first time, who we went on to sell for 600,000 gns.
The dam has produced useful horses already with Ventura Ocean being the pick of those, he peaked at an OR of 94 before being sold to privately to Australia bloodstock.
This filly wont be super early but she's certainly one that will be worth the wait, when can expect to see her on the track by June/July.
We paid €5,000 to enter the filly into the Goffs Million race for 2024 over 7f, this should be right up her street, 7f on ground with a bit of autumn juice in the ground!
The filly qualifies for the IRE incentive which rewards owners with a €10,000 prize should we win a qualifying race, we have won 5 in 2023 and are one of the leading owners supporting the scheme.
