Video update 31st may

Our filly worked extremely well with a Mohaather 2yo this morning on the all weather gallop over five and a half furlongs.

We were comfortably on top of our work partner despite been very green at stages in the work and Jack reports that she certainly has plenty of ability.

He plans to work her again next week with a horse who is held in high regard and that should tell us plenty, we are around 2-3 weeks away from a run.

Video update 28th may

Jack is extremely pleased with our filly, she will work for the first time at the weekend hopefully on the grass gallop and we will make a plan from there

Video update 20th may

Our filly can be seen on the nearside, Jack asked her to quicken for two furlongs on the hill gallop at the weekend and she did so very easily.

Audio update from jack 20th may

Jack is very happy with our Oasis Dream filly, she has settled in really well.

OASIS DREAM FILLY HAS SETTLED INTO LIFE AT JACKs 29/04

She looks an absolute steal at 12,000gns and we can't wait to get her started!

oasis dream FILLY BREEZE

ABSOLUTE NO BRAINER!

Mark Grant is a highly successful breeze up consignor and he very rarely gets things wrong, commenting that this filly was his best filly around four weeks ago until she started to suffer with sore shins that prevented her from putting her best foot forward in her gallops.

That came about with the introduction to working on the grass when we’ve had a notable dry spring, if you watch her breeze on the website link above, you’ll notice that she has an incredibly large knee action, this points towards the filly needing soft ground, a trait that so many of our best horses seem to carry.

Gordon "Flash" Power is one of the most experienced breeze up riders on the planet, he regularly has double figure rides at these sales, as demonstrated by his fifteen rides at Doncaster. He equally liked this filly, she was his 9th quickest ride of his 15 but he stressed that she felt like a filly who would require soft ground.

Fast Response had a similar story when we bought her in 2022, she was by Fast Company and this Oasis Dream filly is out of a Fast Company mare, Look Back Smiling is another by Fast Company and all his progeny seem to enjoy soft conditions.

We think it’s fair to say that if the conditions at Doncaster where testing as they were the year previously, this filly would have been well out of our price range based on the times she would have recorded.

Again, this filly looks perfect for those second half of the season stakes races on soft ground, her purchase price of just 12,000gns could look an absolutely snip in six months times and she represents a real opportunity to get involved in a potentially very smart horse for very little investment.
