We will look to aim her at the races shown below. I see her as a filly who we can run regularly and look to target the All Weather Bonus Series with.
She should like the underfoot conditions at Doncaster on 11th November where we will look to get her started.
11th November Donny 0-85 6f
23rd November Wolv 0-85 7f
25th November Wolv 0-80 5f
15th December Southwell 0-80 5f
18th December Wolv 0-85 7f
21st December Southwell 0-85 6f
Our fourth purchase of the 2023 Tattersalls HIT sale is a Dandy Man filly out of William Haggas' yard called Je Ne Sais Quoi.
She is a two time winner over 5/6f and is currently rated 80 by the handicapper after her cosy victory last time out at Nottingham in what was a fair enough race for the grade. She showed an impressive turn of foot that day on what was very heavy ground, even more impressive was the fractions in the middle of the race when despite the slow early pace we quickened clear.
A full sister to Bellagio Man who was an improver as a 3yo and for the switch to the all weather, we plan to give her a light end to 2023 with 2-3 runs before stepping things up early in 2024 when more options open up.
Ultimately we see her as a 6-7f horse for next year and she could very well end up rated considerably more come 2024, even stepping into blacktype company.
She is exactly the type Grant excels with, tough, game fillies with plenty of ability that he can keep sound and out regularly just like Glorious Angel and Bellarchi. Grant retains a 25% share.
