We have an excellent record when buying at this sale with Karl, just last year we bought Woodcote winner Teej A and the year before we bought group three winner, Making Dreams. Our list this year is very small but we were both very keen on this filly by Invicinble Army.
The sire wouldn't be the most fashionable but he can produce a nice horse, such as stakes winners James' Delight and Kitty Rose.
Mary Rose has already produced two sharp 2yo's, both from unfashionable stallions in Camacho and Guitafan.
Woolhampton was actually placed in the 5f Listed St.Hugh's stakes as a juvenile and she has held her form right throughout her career, still rated in the high 80's and winning over £125k in prize money.
We expected to pay around 30,000gns for her so we were over the moon when we managed to steal her for just 16,000gns from one of the best nurseries around in Yeomanstown.
Karl agreed and has asked for a substantial share in the horse.
