 Our first purchase of the Goff's Orby sale was on the second day of Book 1, lot 277, a fantastic model by first season sire Kameko. Purchased with Ollie Sangster for €70,000, she's a real strong individual with an imposing action.

Progeny of Kameko have been all the range so far this sales season, the momentum behind them started off at Arqana where the Hong Kong Jockey Club went to €310,000 for a colt of Roheryn.

Kameko holds the record for the fastest ever time in the Guineas when he beat Wichita in 2020, he had previously won G1 Vertem Futurity Stakes as a 2yo and finished second in the G2 Royal Lodge.

We originally thought the filly would be out of our price range, the dam was a listed winner on debut in America and their was plenty of American interest in this horse. We caught up with Ollie after the hammer went down and he very kindly let us get involved.

Ollie has made a real impact  in his first season of holding a license landing the Listed Sandown Star Stakes with Shuwari as well as training a plethora of talented juveniles including our own "Really Darn Hot" 

This Kameko filly is 100% GBB registered which is a route we will be looking to go down once she hits the track, we have enjoyed plenty of success with incentives with Princess Alex winning a GB Bonus in 2023 along with four winners of the IRE Sales initiative.
