We will be looking for entries at the end of June for our Dark Angel filly.
Farside - Working with York winner Harvana
Our filly is well and has been named Princess Alex, once it had been passed by the Royal Family.
Lucy tells me that she has been doing half speeds and is improving and hardening up all of the time.
She isn't a filly we will see on the track in April but we will see how her works goes in April and see how she progresses.
We have three Dark Angel fillies with Karl and none of them look like being on the track in April so it is pretty much as expected.
NEARSIDE
She is looking fantastic and looks as though she's really enjoying her time at George Chaloner's base!
She will be heading to Karl Burke's, Spigot Lodge later on this month to continue her education.
George has been very happy since she arrived, she knows exactly what her job is.
He went as far as saying she will be absolutely rapid!
He thinks she's going to be rapid!!
- Lot 104 -
This Dark Angel filly was actually bred at Glebe Farm, as part of our bloodstock syndicate. Nick was always of the mindset that she may end up racing in our colours if she did not reach a premium price. She was a late foal but everything he saw recently he liked; so much so Nick will be keeping a leg for himself. Karl Burke was also keen to train her should she become available, given the success we have had with our Dark Angel's.
- Pedigree -
Another Dark Angel to add to our string, we've had unprecedented success with her offspring, and Nick probably knows better than anyone what a good Dark Angel looks like. The dam, Alexandrite was a winner at 3 in France on soft ground, she was by Oasis Dream and breed by Juddmonte. Oasis Dream was a very talented sprinter, winning both the Nunthorpe and July Cup at three.
- Nicks Thoughts -
She's a filly we have always liked, she's very strong, a great mover and she looks like she'll be an absolute rocket. A little offset of one knee Infront but that's just a personal note. Another one that will joining Karl who does so well with these types.
