BUY SHARES

This filly was bought by Nick Bradley at the Arqana October Yearling Sales on 21st October 2020.

She is out of the three-time winning 2yo Marie D'o who was a Listed 2nd on her third start as a race filly.

Marie D'o has produced two runners from three foals both of them by Penny's Picnic who are both winners and rated in the high 80s after winning over 80,000 Euros each. Both were precocious 2yos and ran at Listed level early in their careers.

This filly is a very strong, good moving filly who looks more like a colt than a filly. She has good conformation; she hasn't got the prettiest head and was poorly prepped in that she was too heavy at the sales and carried a bit of a belly.

Nick was prepared to bid to 30,000 Euros to secure her and was delighted to see the hammer fall at just 20,000.

The pedigree shows that the cross works with two and physically she ticked every box for Nick and was one of only two fillies who remained on the shortlist on day 3 of the sale.

We expect her to be ready to run in May over a 6-furlong trip.

She joins Richard Fahey who has won with each of our 2yo fillies in 2020 and Fev Rover has won twice at Stakes level including the Group 2 Calvados Stakes in Deauville. She qualifies for French Premiums which in 2021 are raised to 70% on top of the already very high levels of prize money.

"She is a very straightforward filly with a great temperament. She has left this morning for Musley Bank and will begin the breaking in process." Nick Bradley (9/12/20)
