This filly was purchased by Nick and Karl Burke at the Tattersalls Ireland Yearling sales on 22nd September for 62,000 Guineas.

This filly was probably the nicest filly in the sale. As always Nick viewed every filly in the sale and identified lots 168 Fascinating Rock Filly (75,000 Guineas), 475 Starspangledbanner (85,000) and this filly lot 334 as the best three fillies in the sale. Nick underbid lot 168 and had a good go at securing lot 475 but wasn't successful.

This daughter of Profitable was the filly with the best action in the sale. She floated as she stretched out and was very hard to fault. She stands at 15'1 and looks every inch a speedy filly. She has a very good hip and moves like a horse who will be best seen at sprint trips.

She is out of a sister to Queen Mary and Robert Papin winner Signora Cabello and three other Stakes fillies so she is very much bred in the purple. When she walked into the ring Nick hoped to secure her for less than 50,000 Guineas but she was on plenty of lists and Nick had to stretch to 62,000 to secure her.

The thinking behind buying her was very much based on her physical and her potential value if she was to secure blacktype. Our 2yo filly Honey Sweet has a similar  level of pedigree, to date she has won once and achieved a OR of 

94. We have already rejected offers of £200,000 for her so at 62,000 Guineas this filly makes plenty of sense.

Physically she reminds Nick alot of Honey Sweet, she is the type who should improve as the season progresses. Karl liked this filly alot and has taken a 25% share in her himself. Nick and Karl have had plenty of success in recent years together with the likes of Dandalla winning at Royal Ascot and Little Kim winning at Group 3 level. Guilded, Fast Response, Sophie's Star and Honey Sweet have also excelled as 2yos in 2021.

We expect this filly to debut in the second half of May over 5 furlongs and be aimed at Royal Ascot.
