A group horse in a handicap?
After his recent wind and gelding operation, Marshman returned to the track in devasting form, getting up close home under a well judged Clifford Lee ride despite not enjoying the smoothest of passages.
He had a good blow afterwards and he should take a step forward the next day which is extremely exciting for his owners.

By winning today, we have been given a free entry in the £150k AW Finals day sprint on the 18th April.
Should we manage to win, we would pick up a £15,000 bonus for winning both races, with the potential to win £35,000 should we win the second trial at Lingfield on the 28th February.
We still have to run twice more on the all weather to qualify for the final, with our options shown below:

20th March - Newcastle 5f 0-105
18th April - Newcastle 6f 150k
