This filly was purchased from the Goffs Sportsman Sale by Nick and Karl on 25th September 2020.
The Goffs Sportsman Sale was a sale transferred from Naas, Ireland to Doncaster in the UK in a last-minute decision so the sale could go ahead.
Nick has tried to focus on buying the best individuals at the sales and relying on his ability to see angles that other people don't and in this filly, we think he has struck gold again.
This filly is out of the second crop of the stallion Estidkaar. She is catalogued as being out of a mare who has produced 3 foals and 2 runners. This was catalogued incorrectly by Goffs and her pedigree is far better than it suggests on paper.
Wishyouwerehere has actually bred 2 winners from 3 runners. The Anjaal filly 'Qing Shen Yi Chang' was bought and exported to China where she won twice as a 2yo. The 2yo colt by Prince of Lir was bought by Ben McElroy at the Yearling Sales for 40,000 Guineas and exported to the U.S. where he is in training with Wesley Ward. He has ran twice to date finishing 3rd on debut before going on to win on the turf on his second start at Gulfstream in a $65,000 Maiden Special Weight. Gulfstream is a premier track in the U.S. and Maiden Special Weight's are the equivalent of our Novice races in the UK.

He has since done a track workout where he recorded the 5th fastest of the 29 horses who worked on that day and looks set to be running again soon.

This filly was one of the best moving fillies at the sale, she has a great way of going and couldn't be faulted on her action.
She is very much in the frame of her sire Estidkaar, she is a shade long and narrow and wouldn't be as physically strong as the other fillies we have bought to date. She looked poorly prepped at the sales and Nick plans to give her plenty of conditioning work at home before she leaves but this isn't something that should concern anyone. Turning the clock back 12 months, she is very much a filly who is in the frame of a Fev Rover rather than a Dandalla.
Nick sees her as a filly for the second half of the season running over trips between 6 and 8 furlongs.
Nick and Karl were prepared to bid to £20,000 to secure the filly and feel they have secured a bargain when buying this filly. Karl has bought a 50% share in this filly.
She will be trained by Karl Burke who Nick has combined so well with over recent years. The pair have the undefeated Group 2 and Group 3 winner Dandalla in 2020 as well as the likes of Group 3 winner Little Kim and Listed placed Terrichang and Miss Lucy who was sold to race in the U.S. for a lot of money.
