We are absolutely delighted to have purchased this Kodiac colt privately after the sale, he was high on our wish list but we didn't think financially it would be something we could achieve.

Purchased for £80,000, he looks the perfect type for Ascot, he's all class and his breeze up times was the 15th fastest out of over 180 lots. Everything wasn’t in his favour given he ended up on the wrong side of the track and hung a little late on, he also doesn’t look like he has been prepared to deliver his career best at the sales, there's plenty of scope and belief he will make an even better 3yo.

He qualifies for a £15,000 bonus should he win a qualifying race which is something we will be looking to fully exploit as we map out his 2yo campaign.

- Pedigree - 

By the all-conquering 2yo producer, Kodiac, this colt looks an absolute picture which is a given for Kodiac progeny. Kodiac stands at Tally-Ho stud for €40,000 and has produced over 37 group winners, 24 of those been 2yo races. He has a fine record of not only producing a good race horse but also Stallion potential, with Kodi Bear & Adaay just a few recent examples of horses that have entered the stallion book. 

The dam is US bred which is not an abnormality for Kodiac’s, there is a strong international interest and many a horse would end up racing internationally, which Is perfect for our model alongside the colt’s exemplary vet report. The dam’s sire, Exchange Rate is a highly commercial sire in the states who is a fine producer of 2yo’s who excel over 7f-8f eventually, which is exactly what this colt looks like.

We have been very impressed with Amy & Lemos and had no hesitation to send them another 2yo to train. Amy has started the season in great form, she has already had a 2yo winner over in France in Myconian and we fully expect the team to have a very good few month's with their 2yo's given all the reports coming out of the yard.
