This filly initially sold out very quickly but someone who committed to a 25% share failed to complete so the shares have been reoffered.
She was bought for £21,000 at the Goffs Premier Yearling Sales by Nick and Karl Burke.
She is a strong filly who looks every inch a 2yo. Karl obviously trained Havana Grey and was keen to recruit some of his progeny and this filly ticked plenty of boxes due to having a lot of similarities with her father. She has a sprinter's walk but covers the ground well. Her conformation isn't perfect as she toes in on both front legs due to her being such a well developed filly. Karl was happy to pass her and he himself took a 25% share.
She showed plenty of temperament at the sales but was from a small Uk breeder and wouldn't have had the same sales preparation as some of the bigger consignments. Since arriving at Glebe Farm this filly hasn't put a hair out of place since her first day. She left to be broken in at John Weyme's yard on September 17th.
She is out of the Pivotal mare, Asia Minor whose first foal Adaay in Asia is now rated 86 and is a two time winner.
We expect this filly to be debuting in the first half of May next year over 5 furlongs and looks the type of filly we will be hoping heads to Royal Ascot for races like the Queen Mary.
Nick and Karl have had great success together in recent years with the likes of Dandall winning the Group 2 Cherry Hinton, Group 3 Albany Stakes and the Listed Arran Scottish Sprint. Guilded, Honey Sweet, Sophie's Star and Fast Response have all been exciting 2yos for the combination in 2021.
