This filly was purchased by Nick from the Goffs Orby sale on 29th September for 28,000 Euros.

The Goffs Orby Sale was incredibly strong in 2021 and Nick is confident that this filly was the best value purchase from the sale.

Nick had a shortlist of around 30 fillies in the Orby Sale from the 200 on offer. The average price of the horses sold from his shortlist will be around 200,000 Euros so to secure this filly for 28,000 felt like a steal. Nick was prepared to bid up to 40,000 Euros for this filly.

She is a daughter of El Kabeir who has had a very good start to his career at stud.  He has had three 2yos run to marks above 100 in Rerouting, Harrow and Masekela which is a very solid start for a stallion with his first crop of 2yos.

This filly is a very good model and probably the nicest 2yo filly Nick has seen at the sales. She has the make and shape of a 6/7 furlong filly. She is strong but wouldn't have the look or makeup of a 5 furlong filly. She has a bit of length and a very good action. She toes out slightly in front which is close to perfect in Nick's opinion.

We expect this filly to debut over 6 furlongs in early June based on everything we know at the time of purchase.

Nick and George are probably the most successful Owner/Trainer combination in the Uk at the moment with their 2yos. They have combined for three Stakes winners in 2021 with Oscula, Corazon and Mystery Angel all winning at the highest level. Mystery Angel also finished 2nd in the Epsom Oaks this year.
