Nick's Comments

We have the opportunity to purchase a 2yo filly from Tally Ho Stud, Ireland.

Yesterday saw the the first two 2yo races of the season and not surprisingly the Amo horses ran well in both races. They won the Brocklesby by 4 3/4 lengths and led the Curragh race up until the final strides and finished 2nd with Forceful Speed.

The Brocklesby winner had been in Tally Ho Stud until 3 weeks ago and Roger had done all of the training with him, This bodes incredibly well for the Tally Ho horses, as if Persian Force is able to win the Brocklesby by 4 3/4 lengths then their other 2yos should also be in front of the 2yo cohort.

I purchased another 2yo filly from Roger around a month ago and she did her first piece of work yesterday. She worked very well and George plans to work her with his best 2yo filly at the moment next week.

Roger has another 2yo filly that he has been recommending to me for about a month. I have seen a video of this filly working over 5 furlongs on 2nd March with a group of five other 2yos. She wins the gallop easily by a couple of lengths.

Roger tells me that our filly wants buying and is very much a filly for the first half of the season. She shows lots of early speed and is a filly we would be targeting at races like the Lily Agnes, Chester 4th May and then the Marygate, York 13th May.

I have been impressed with the thought processes I have seen from Grant Tuer to date and would like to send him this filly to train in 2022.
