Sales Walk video

Karl has a very good record buying horses out of the Richard Hannon yard.

" Mottahaer and Mottakar are two I bought out of Hannon's for reasonable money on recommendation from a contact in the Hannon yard. Mottaker won one and should of won two and the other fella won three or four. In 2000 I bought Moonlight Dancer for 800GNS and won 4 on the bounce with it. There was also Bold Prediciton bought for 19,000GNS and sold two years later  for 42000GNS. Chevallier claimed from Hannon's for £7,500 and sold to Archie Watson for 33,000 GNS a year later.

Al Qareem is a 2yo colt bought by Karl Burke and Nick Bradley at the Tattersalls October HIT Sales on 25th October for 27,000 Guineas.

Sadly we lost His Highness Sheikh Hamdam bin Rashid Al Maktoum last year which has meant that the majority of his horses in training and breeding stock have been sold publicly including approximately 200 horses at this HIT Sale.

This colt came strongly recommended to Karl via a contact within the Richard Hannon yard. Karl has been recommended many good horses from the same contact in previous years and Karl trusts him so much Karl has personally taken a 50% share in this colt. Karl tells us that this colt has been working recently and is ready to run. The reports are that his work has been very good and he shows plenty of ability.

Nick bought G Force from the Richard Hannon yard at the Tattersalls October HIT Sales for 25,000 and he went on to win the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup so we had plenty of confidence in purchasing this colt.

He has a 3yo pedigree being a son of Awtaad out of the Teofilo mare Moqla. She is a half sister to the Group 3 Earl of Sefton and Listed Wolferton Stakes winner Mahsoob.

At 27,000 Guineas he seems very cheap given it would have cost most of that to train him to this stage and with him showing plenty of ability it feels like a no brainer.

George Boughey underbid him and when Nick asked him about it George said he felt like this year's Khatm so George has clearly heard similar reports about him.
